Founder and Dance Performance Coach Lucy Christodoulou mentors dancers through all stages of their education and career, enhancing their performance through optimised nutrition, carefully structured strength training and mindset coaching.
Through protocols designed to develop a diet focussed on balance and fuel, mindset training to empower developing dancers to build confidence and cope with the challenges of this career and strength training programmes designed to create athletic and resilient physiques, Lucy supports dancers to go from good to extraordinary - in the studio, on stage and in life.
ABOUT LUCY
A former professional dancer Queensland Ballet, Lucy holds a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition (Latrobe University), Diploma of Counselling and a Certificate III & IV in Fitness, and is currently completing a Bachelor of Psychological Science (UQ).
Lucy’s lived experience, recovering from eating disorders, mental health issues and physical injuries throughout her professional training and early years of her career highlighted the lack of holistic support for dancers facing the same challenges.
This led her to complete her studies in various fields, founding Beyond The Barre in 2021, combining the education and professional guidance as well as the profound understanding of ballet required to empower dancers to become healthy, self-aware and fulfilled humans.
